The treatment begins with cleansing the skin and optional application of a numbing cream for your comfort. This is often left on for around 15 minutes. Injection sites are marked - often five points on each side of the face to allow for effective distribution of the product. The injections themselves are quick and well tolerated, though there can be an associated sting or mild discomfort. This is normal and passes quickly. You may notice small bumps at the injection sites - again these are normal and typically settle within 24 hours.
